FTCollector Support

FTCollector is for authorized FloraTrace field collectors. For account access, collection questions or technical help, contact tgl@floratrace.com.

Prepare before going offline

Sign in online with your authorized @floratrace.com Google account.
Open Sync to prepare Site and Sample IDs for the phone.
Download the required USA state overview and Site-area map detail; wait for Ready offline.

Collect samples

Add a Site and record its GPS location, then add Samples at that Site. Write each Sample’s complete displayed bag label on its physical bag. Save a sample photo before marking the Sample collected. A Site needs GPS and a Sample needs at least one saved photo before completion.

Synchronize and keep your records

Reconnect and open FTCollector. Check the Sync tab until no changes are waiting. Marking a Sample collected requests sync while connected; offline work remains queued. iOS may stop uploads when the app is force-closed.

Keep the app and its data on the phone until all pending work has synchronized. Signing out keeps saved collection records; uninstalling the app removes local data. Before updating an older assigned-task installation, finish or back up any pending legacy tasks and photos.

Report a problem

Include your app version, Site/Sample bag ID, the action you tried, and whether Wi-Fi or cellular was available. Send screenshots only through your approved FloraTrace support process and avoid including unnecessary private information. Never send your password.
